Fun-ney! My Kobo has audio built into it and I did listen to the Franklin book that came with it, but I don't know if I'd like listening to books.

I fell in love with Anne Rice's vamps as well. They were dangerous and beautiful at the same time and maybe that's why I don't care for Twilight at all. There's no danger.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14849835587452669592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5996150568062682613.post-52590480575113987222012-01-24T05:20:55.561-08:002012-01-24T05:20:55.561-08:00Yay!!! But for how long is anybodies guess.

Yep, I;m now listening to NewMoon on Audio whilst I work - more out of curiosity than anything else. It's still getting me though the mundane, but I agree with Nephy. If it was something a little more action packed and with sound effects, I don't think I'd be able to concentrate. Still...

Glad everyone likes the pic...DRChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03352970077497112668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5996150568062682613.post-72607559890954912582012-01-23T08:34:40.313-08:002012-01-23T08:34:40.313-08:00That pic is AM AZ ING. Apart from the whole 119 year old man breaking into the house of a 16 year old to watch her sleep, and said sixteen year old girl deciding that the best way to get her boyfriend back is to try and kill herself, none of the messages are such I would want my daughter buying into. Also REAL VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE :) As for audio books, they are fantabulous. I used to listen to them in the car on the way to work. Some of the horror ones are spooky as hell. Imagine listening to a vampire story, with the creepy music, driving through country lanes in the dark. Delicious. I think the key is finding the right voices, that non't annoy you, and to read the right book at the right time. I don't think you would have been able to concentrate so well on your work with a more exciting book playing.Nephy's Worldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12677130973931453911noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5996150568062682613.post-34410583541451373762012-01-21T16:26:11.811-08:002012-01-21T16:26:11.811-08:00Bazingas are great when mixed in with violins and ...Bazingas are great when mixed in with violins and Vampires.
Great choices, my friend!

BlazeBlaze McRobhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15593633013555705302noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5996150568062682613.post-28586903180299461252012-01-21T07:19:32.034-08:002012-01-21T07:19:32.034-08:00Audio books are great in the car, or when doing th...Audio books are great in the car, or when doing the housework, though I'm more likely to listen to HGTTG radio plays which are almost audiobooks.Martin Willoughbyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05605554706836638988noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5996150568062682613.post-81851743773032907632012-01-20T18:29:36.543-08:002012-01-20T18:29:36.543-08:00I have never listened to a audio book, either!
