A while back I felt a little artistic and put together this little Marvel piece. It's done in ink and is A3 size. It took quite a while to do, and I did make a little error (in ink) that put me off it for a while, but I eventually forced myself back and I completed it. I am proud of it, but then I'm biased (and that error still glares are me but I think I hid it well. I'm not telling you where it is).
Anyway, while having a little down time in editing, I decided to put together a DC one too, pictured beneath the first. It's a work in progress, same size and currently in pencil, so any errors can easily be erased. I'll eventually go over it in ink like the first, and when that happens I'll post pictures of the final piece. Hopefully there won't be errors in ink like last time...ðŸ˜

Couldn't find the error, I think we are always more critical of our own work than anyone else. I know what you mean, about not being able to live with a mistake, how it eats into you. Glad you are facing the silly judge in your head and beginning to take no notice. Tell that inner judge to go away, and just press on with your gifts 🌹
ReplyDeleteThanks. It took me about 2 months to ignore that inner judge and pick this up again. Sometimes we are our own worst enemies...
DeleteGreat stuff. I lack that talent :(
ReplyDeleteThanks. Drawing and writing have always been a part of my life...
DeleteLooks good.

Thanks 😊
DeleteNice! I have artist sons. It's fun having creativity in the family.
ReplyDeleteThere's never a dull moment :)
DeleteWhat fantastically detailed artwork, such a talent. I enjoyed seeing them here today.
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteWow!! I wouldn't even know where the "error" is, that's an amazing piece of artwork and please share when the DC one is done :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, and I definitely will...may be a little while though :)
DeleteLooks fantastic! I can't see the error, but then, I'm no expert. I'm trying to catch up though, in my house we're having a weekly movie night to watch all the movies. I can already identify more characters in your picture than I would have a couple of weeks ago!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good thing, right? Being able to name more characters than you could before? I love Marvel and can easily rewatch all the films from the beginning, but that's around 40 odd hours worth I heard. 40 hours well spent but 40 hours that could be spent writing...or drawing. Still, enjoy your Marvel journey. I'm sure you won't be disappointed :)
